TALLINN RESTAURANT WEEK
Tallinn Restaurant Week will be held for the second time from 1-7 November 2012. 33 of the best restaurants of Tallinn will be taking part.
Participating restaurants: Balalaika, Balthasar, Bocca, Bollywood, Bonaparte, Cha Dao, Chedi, City, Cru, Dominic, Gianni, Kadriorg, Kaerajaan, La Bottega, Leib, Lusikas, M.C Grill, Mekk, Monaco, Moon, Neh, Neikid, Nero, Nevskij, Number 9, Platz, Restoran Ö, Ribe, Rucola, Sfäär, Tchaikovsky, Troika.
The aim of Tallinn Restaurant Week is to bring food culture closer to the citizen. The Estonian Culinary Association (EKA) and The Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association are initiators of the Tallinn Restaurant Week. The aim is to promote dining out as a cultural experience among locals and visitors alike.
The quality of some of Tallinns’ restaurants has developed to a level at par with that in some of the world’s largest cities, which we are proud of! We encourage citizens and visitors to experience this for themselves during the Restaurant Week.
More than 8000 seats have been reserved for participants during this spectacular week. A two-course lunch is offered for just € 10 and a three-courses dinner for as little as €20! The meals are set menus based on dishes from the restaurants’ à la carte selection and will represent the style of each restaurant. As much as possible, the dishes will make use of fresh, local ingredients. The participating restaurants and their Restaurant Week menus can be viewed online at www.tallinnrestaurantweek.ee.

Tallinn Restaurant Week offers are only available with advance booking through the Tallinn Restaurant Week reservation desk. Bookings need to be made at least one day in advance.
Restaurant week was first conceived in New York but has since gone global encouraging diners to celebrate eating out as a cultural event. Restaurant weeks are now held in such cities as London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Boston, Atlanta and St. Moritz and have become annual drawcards for locals and visitors alike.
How can I make use of the TRW offer?
To participate in the TRW you need to reserve seats in the restaurant of your choice via the TRW reservation desk. The TRW reservation desk will issue a reservation confirmation number via e-mail as confirmation of your booking with TRW. Your reservation confirmation specifies the date, time, restaurant and the number of guests of your booking. You cannot make reservations with the participating restaurants directly. Without a TRW reservation confirmation you will unfortunately not be entitled to the TRW offer.
Can I also book directly with the restaurant?
Not if you like to make use of the TRW offer. But you can of course book directly with any of the participating restaurants but that will be a regular reservation to which the special TRW offer does not apply.
How does the restaurant know that I am a TRW participant?
All TRW participants have received a valid reservation confirmation number via e-mail from the TRW reservation desk where you made your booking. Please mention this reservation confirmation number when you enter the restaurant, the restaurant staff has been informed about your arrival and will match your reservation number with the TRW guest list.
How long ahead do I need to make my reservation?
Your reservation needs to be made with the TRW reservation desk latest on the day before you plan to visit the restaurant. Same day reservations are not possible.
Are there any limitations to the group size of a TRW reservation?
Yes there are limitations; you can only make a reservation for a party of 2 to 4 guests and in some restaurants up to 6 guests on special request. Unfortunately the TRW offer is not available for bookings of more then 6 guests. We have set this rule to allow as many people as possible to participate in the TRW. In case you plan to dine with more then 6 guests, the TRW offer is not valid and we recommend making a regular booking with the restaurant of your choice.
How come that the Restaurant tells me that they still have availability while the TRW reservation desk tells me that all seats are sold out?
TRW has secured more then 8000 seats in 33 restaurants during the Tallinn Restaurant Week at the very attractive TRW price. Nevertheless the number of seats that are available to TRW participants is limited. Therefore it might be possible that all the TRW seats at a restaurant are sold out even if the restaurant still has tables available for regular bookings. Our advice is to book early, first come first serve.
I have made a reservation with the TRW reservation desk and I received a confirmation, can I take an extra guest along?
Not without first contacting the TRW reservation desk. The reservation confirmation that you have received specifies the number of guests for which you have made a reservation. You cannot show up at the restaurant with more guests without having first contacted the reservation desk which will check for availability. If there is availability for extra guests you will receive a new reservation confirmation via e-mail.
I like to cancel my reservation, what do I do?
You simply call the TRW reservation desks and inform them of your change of plans. Doing so is very much appreciated, as it will free up your seats for others that like to participate in the TRW. Please do not call the restaurant directly as the TRW bookings are managed by the TRW reservation desk.
I went to the restaurant and the restaurant refused to offer me the TRW menu.
This should not happen if you are in the possession of a valid reservation confirmation issued by the TRW reservation desk. The restaurant sees all confirmed TRW reservations online and has a guest list of TRW participants. Please contact the TRW reservation desk should this happen. If you are not in the possession of a valid reservation confirmation issued by the TRW reservation desk then the restaurant is perfectly right to refuse to serve you and your guest the TRW menu. That’s the rule of the game. To participate you do need to have a reservation confirmation issued by the TRW reservation desk.
I like to celebrate my birthday and plan to make a booking for 7 for the TRW, how do I do this?
Unfortunately the TRW offer is not available for bookings of more then 4 and at some restaurants 6 guests. We have set this rule to allow as many as possible people to participate in the TRW offer. In case you plan to dine with more then 6 guests we recommend making a regular booking with the restaurant of your choice.
I called a participating restaurant and they refused to make a reservation for me for the TRW.
The restaurant was correct refusing to make a reservation for the TRW. Reservations for the TRW can only be made with the TRW reservation desk which can be reached at + 372 630 4050
I try to reach TRW via phone but nobody picks up.

Unfortunately the reservation desk cannot be reached by email. Reservation requests made by email will not be responded to.

I have dietary concerns. Can I change one of the dishes to a different one?
Yes, if you have certain allergies, please inform the TRW reservation desk when making your booking. This information will be passed on to the restaurant, which will make an alternative choice based on the diet that you adhere to. Note that you cannot choose the replacement dish by yourself.
I have a client card of the restaurant can I use it with the TRW offer?
No, the TRW offer does not allow any additional discounts or benefits that you might get usually with your client card.
Is there a special offer for wines as well during the TRW?
No, but most restaurants serve a selection of attractively priced open wines.
