Vana Jahu Resto is New Trüffel resto, same concept, slightly wider scope. We are a modern restaurant that combines quality and friendly prices. Delicious a´la carte dishes in a cozy environment. Fresh homemade pasta, bread and Naples-style gourmet pizza. In our menu there is an important place for high-quality local ingredients, as well as seasonal options. The menu includes a high-quality wine selection, which has been put together by an expert. We have a spacious terrace to enjoy the summer.

Head chef

Edvin Kubetskis

Our chef is Edvin Kubetskis, who has experience working in a Michelin restaurant, but already from childhood, Edvin started working part-time in a restaurant with his father, his father gave him motivation and good advice to develop his cooking skills. Already at the age of 14, Edvin was made to prepare a cold table, and at the age of 16, the decision was ready in favor of his future profession. At the age of 18, Edvin moved to England, where he studied restaurant and hotel business and at the same time worked part-time in various restaurants, where he gained experience and acquaintances. At the age of 20, Edvin was lucky enough to work in a Michelin-starred restaurant in London belongs to Gordon Ramsay, one of the most inspired team he has ever seen. At the age of 21, Edvin was invited to work as a private chef for a family in London, Hyde Park 100, where he met two outstanding chefs from Italy and France, they also had Michelin experience and opened a new view of the world of cooking for Edvin. In London, Edvin went to the market every day, where he selected the best and freshest ralocal porducts, and now he does the same at Trüffel´s in Balti Jaam´s market.
