Marko Sõmer

Head Chef Marko Sõmer has been shaping the culinary vision of Restaurant Horisont since 2012. Under his leadership, the menu has become known for its perfect harmony of flavors, textures, and colors — each dish a thoughtfully crafted experience that blends creativity with technical precision. Marko’s distinctive culinary style is rooted in years of experience in renowned restaurants. Before joining Horisont, he honed his skills in Ireland at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant within the Ritz-Carlton hotel. One of his most notable recent achievements came in 2024, when he led the Estonian national team at the IKA Culinary Olympics, earning both silver and bronze medals — a recognition of his dedication and passion for the culinary arts.
