How can I make use of the Tallinn Restaurant Week (TRW) offer?

To participate in TRW, you need to reserve seats in the restaurant(s) of your choice and pay for the seats via the online TRW Reservation and Ticketing System at the moment of booking. After making your reservation and paying for it the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System will issue a reservation confirmation voucher with a unique ID code that will be sent to you via email as confirmation of your booking with TRW. Your reservation confirmation voucher specifies the date, time, restaurant(s) and the number of guests of your booking. When entering the restaurant you need to show your voucher ID code to the restaurant staff. Without a valid TRW voucher ID code you and your guests will not be entitled to the TRW offer.

How can I make a reservation?

Making reservations for TRW is simple, fast and secure. Reservations can be made via the online TRW Reservation and Ticketing System at www.tallinnrestaurantweek.ee where you will find all participating restaurants and their menus, as well as the available times to book your lunch or dinner. The TRW Reservation and Ticketing System allows you conveniently book seats and make the payment via your credit card or a bank link.

Must I make my TRW reservation via the online TRW Reservation and Ticketing System?

Yes you must. TRW reservations cannot be made with the participating restaurants directly, nor can you book a seat via phone, email or otherwise through the TRW organization. Here is where to book: www.tallinnrestaurantweek.ee

Can I also book directly with the restaurant?

Not if you like to make use of the TRW offer. But you can of course book directly with any of the participating restaurants but that will be a regular reservation to which the special TRW offer does not apply.

How does the restaurant know that I am a TRW participant?

All TRW participants receive a valid reservation confirmation voucher with a unique ID code via e-mail from the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System. Please mention ID code when you enter the restaurant, the restaurant staff has been informed about your arrival and will match your voucherID code with the TRW guest list.

How long ahead do I need to make my reservation?

Your reservation needs to be made via the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System latest on the day before you plan to visit the restaurant. Same-day reservations are not possible. As the number of seats is limited and may sell fast, it’s recommended to book as early as possible.

Are there limitations to the group size of a TRW reservation?

Yes, the maximum number of guests that can participate is 6 and the minimum is 2.

You can make a reservation for a party of 2 to 6 guests. We have set this rule to allow as many people as possible to participate in TRW. In case you plan to dine with more than 6 guests, the TRW offer is not valid and we recommend you a regular booking with the restaurant of your choice. We inform you that it is not possible to request a group seating at a single table by combining multiple reservation vouchers. In effect the restaurant pre-assigns the seating and is in no way obliged to seat parties together.

How come the restaurant tells me that they still have availability while the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System shows me that all seats are sold out?

TRW has secured more than 20 000 seats during Tallinn Restaurant Week at the very attractive TRW price. Nevertheless the number of seats that are available to TRW participants is limited. Therefore it might be possible that all the TRW seats at a restaurant are sold out even if the restaurant still has tables available for regular bookings. Our advice is to book early, first come, first served.

I made a reservation with the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System and have received a confirmation; can I take an extra guest along?

No, you cannot. The reservation confirmation that you have received is final and specifies the number of guests for which you have made a reservation. You cannot show up at the restaurant with more guests then indicated on your reservation voucher.

We will be fewer guests then the number of guests booked with the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System. What to do?

Not much, since all bookings made are final and non-refundable. Maybe you use the opportunity to invite some long forgotten friends to join at your table.

I’d like to cancel my reservation, what should I do?

All reservations made with the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System are final.

Your reservation cannot be cancelled, refunded or altered. But it can be handed over.

If your plans have changed meanwhile, you are most welcome to hand your voucher to someone else, maybe a dear friend or a colleague. You do not need to contact the restaurant in that case or the TRW organization, as they will not be able to alter your reservation details. In order for your friends to take over your reservation it is sufficient to hand them your reservation confirmation voucher. By handing over your voucher (or its ID code) you entitle the recipient to make use of your voucher. Since the voucher has monetary value and can only be claimed once, be careful when distributing your voucher details.

Given the situation regarding COVID19, we ask each customer to monitor the flow of information and decide the participation in the restaurant week accordingly. Vouchers purchased under TRN are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Yes, the restaurant that you booked with will keep your reservation for at most 20 minutes as a courtesy. In that case your voucher will unfortunately have lost validity, without possibility for a refund.

I went to the restaurant and the restaurant refused to offer me the TRW menu.

This should not happen if you are in the possession of a valid reservation confirmation voucher issued via the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System. The restaurant monitors all the confirmed TRW reservations online, has the guest list of the TRW participants and is delighted to welcome you!

If you are not in the possession of a valid reservation voucher issued by the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System then the restaurant is perfectly right to refuse to serve you and your guest the TRW menu. That’s the rule of the game. To participate you do need to present a valid voucher or its ID code issued by the TRW Reservation and Ticketing System.
