Dear Guest, I hope your visit to MEKK is both a unique experience and adds to your previous visits. The roots of modern Estonian cuisine reach back to Estonian traditions and culture, the simple wisdom of grandmothers. We have made it our mission to pay homage to this culture with today’s masterful skills and technical resources, making sure that the result is always characteristic, unique and genuine. Based on this, our team has created a menu. Three or four components; natural and individual but carefully matched seasonal flavours  - are the keywords that define our menu. Rene Uusmees is the head chef of two top Tallinn restaurants, MEKK and ISSEI. Also, he is the creator and leader of Modern Estonian Kitchen Сuisine, for whom work is not just a profession, but it is his passion and calling.
